Das EVANS 14 Zoll Strata 1000 Concert Snarefell bietet eine Lage 10mil Folie mit einer Beschichtung, die traditionellem Kalbsleder sehr ähnelt. Die dickere Folie ergibt ein dunkleres Timbre und einen warmen Ton, der dickerem Kalbsleder ähnelt. Ein 2mil Obertonkontrollring erhöht die Artikulation und fokussiert den Ton.
